At the heart of your customers experience is the branded ROES client. The client is the application that your customers will use to create their orders and send them to your lab. It has been designed to be easy to use so your customers have a great experience placing orders with your lab. The ROES Client is a Java-based application that runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
How does it work?
Your customer simply chooses a folder of his (or her) own images and then selects one of your lab defined products. Then by simply dragging and dropping, or double-clicking the image, he can add his images to your products. The ROES Pro client allows him to define the precise crop and rotation, and to select options for each image and print, with the minimum of effort.
Once the desired crop is achieved, the item can be added to the current order and a new product started.
What is the Multi-Node Add-On?
The Multi-Node Add-On enables you to offer your customers products that have multiple image nodes, like Proof Book pages, Designed templates, or Album Overlay templates.
With the Multi-Node Add-On you can offer products that have editable text fields and many other options.
What are some other cool features of the ROES Pro Client?
Advanced features such as arbitrary rotation, auto rotate, and fit are easily selectable in multiple ways, accommodating various studio work styles and equipment. Holding crop, options, and quantity between images of the same size allow studios to quickly process sets of similar images.
To make it easy when ordering many prints of the same size, several images at once can be selected and added to a product. The ROES Pro client will create a separate print for each image. In a similar way, the photographer can create multiple pages of proof books or contact sheet style products in a few clicks.
Options can have text, quantities, or files added to them, ensuring that your lab can offer an exciting range of products, making the most of your creative and technical abilities.
Tiered pricing and variable identifier options allow the Client to generate order files that take advantage of lab billing systems and conventions.
The ROES Client includes branding capabilities, where the banner and background are under the lab's control and can be changed easily.
The ROES Client offers an order queue & FTP upload manager with automatic retry if an order upload fails. It also has a scheduled send so your customers can create orders & upload at a specified time.
